The art and design team of Jackie Piper & Victoria Whitbread found a British Colour Standard colour dictionary in an Oxfam shop, and used a digital colour reader to create colour profiles and log these incredible artifacts lost to time. The colours themselves were inspired by nature: flora & fauna as well as from precious stones and spices, and many of the main collections feature special Royal colours, which were used for coronations and other royal events.
