Bucatini, the name of which derives from the Italian term buco, which translates to "hole", is characterised by its long, thin, hollow noodles. The hole that runs through the middle of the pasta serves a functional purpose as well - along with being able to store some of the sauce, the hollow nature of the pasta allows for it to cook more evenly. The Rustichella d'Abruzzo Bucatini is egg free, and therefore vegan friendly.
