Not exclusive to Italy, Risoni, also called Risi (which is the Italian term for "rice") appears in Greek, Spanish, Turkish and Arabic cuisines. It's a more modern pasta shape, and can be found in soups, salads, and stews. The I Due Pastori Risoni is egg free, and therefore is vegan friendly.
