Description

Mason & Cash have been making ceramic pudding bowls since 1800. Originally, Mason & Cash were operating out of a large village named Church Gresley which was close to the raw materials and transport links required for making ceramics. Various pudding basins had been crafted throughout the 1800's, but the now iconic white pudding basin was created in 1901, and has changed very little since. The rim on the bowl means the pudding can be sealed before steaming and the vented base allows for bubbles to escape (preventing a tip over in the steaming pan).

Throughout the year, the pudding basin can be used as an incredibly durable mixing bowl, and the delightful forest owl relief makes it perfect as a display piece or fruit bowl on the kitchen countertop. The basin is dishwasher and microwave safe, but Mason & Cash would advise not using this in the oven.
