Description
Tajin is a classic Mexican seasoning, made from sea salt, powdered lime, and powdered dried chillies. It's salty, surprisingly citrusy, mildly spicy, and very delicious. Tajin can be enjoyed on really anything you put your mind to it, but some favourites for us are on fresh, perfectly ripe stone fruit (it's incredible on mangos) or watermelon, avocado (either on toast or in guacamole), in marinades or as a rub for meat, on top of fried or poached eggs, on roast veggies - it's surprisingly delicious sprinkled over some good vanilla ice-cream too. Or try rimming a margarita glass with Tajin for a wickedly refreshing drink.
