Description
Saturday, 1st March 2025 9.30am- 12 Noon
Location:
The Hunter's Pantry
Junction Fair Shopping Centre
200 Union Street The Junction, NSW 2291
Sharpen your knife, wit, and kitchen skills in our Knife Handling Class No 1.
First, you will become familiar with the knife—how to choose the right knife for the job, sharpen it, and maintain it at home.
In this 3 hour class, you will learn the techniques of French trimming, chiffonade, julienne, battonet, and slicing.
You will learn to cook a Costaletta with pickled fennel, hand-made salsa Verde, and a fresh green salad.
Whether you are a kitchen novice or a culinary pro, this hands-on class will have you wielding a blade like it is second nature. There will be no drama, no blood, and your fingers will remain intact.
We recommend you bring your own CHEF’S KNIFE into this class—wrapped in a clean tea towel—so you can get to know your knife. Knives will be available to those who’d prefer to use ours.
