Description
Pasilla is the name given to the dried Chilaca chilli, and along with Ancho Chilli it's commonly used in the famous Mole sauce. Pasilla chillies have a mild and fruity flavour, with undertones of liquorice and a fairly low level of heat. Unless being used in place of chilli flakes, these can be reconstituted in warm water before use.
